| Savory Apple Pie |
 |
1 lb. sausage, casing removed 1/2 cup onion, 1/2" wedges 1 tbsp. butter 2 Granny Smith and/or McIntosh apples, cored, 1" slices 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 BOBOLI® 12" Original Italian Pizza Crust 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese |

Preheat oven to 450° F.
In a skillet, crumble and sauté sausage until it loses pink color. Drain fat, set aside.
Sauté onions in butter until golden; add apples and sauté until crisp, but tender. Combine with sausage and mustard. Fill pizza crust leaving a 1" border. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 8-10 minutes on a baking sheet in lower 1/3 of oven.
Cool slightly and serve.
Makes 4 - 6 servings. |
